Quick answers to common questions

Getting Started

How do I create an account?

Click the 'Sign Up' button in the top right corner, enter your email and password, and verify your email address.

What is an MCP server?

An MCP server is a curated collection of tools that work together for a specific workflow. Instead of connecting many scattered servers, focused MCP servers provide the tool set your AI needs.

How do I connect an MCP server to Claude Desktop?

Download the .mcpb file from any MCP server page, double-click it, and enter your API key when prompted. See our Getting Started guide for detailed instructions.

MCP Servers & Tools

Can I request custom MCP servers?

Yes. You can request custom MCP servers through our Request MCP Server page. We'll work with you to create servers tailored to your needs.

How many tools can an MCP server contain?

MCP servers typically contain focused tool sets optimized for specific workflows. This keeps context clean and AI performance strong.

What's the difference between an MCP server and a provider?

A provider is a single service (like Gmail or GitHub). An MCP server exposes the focused tools your AI uses for a workflow.

Authentication & Security

How are my credentials stored?

All credentials are encrypted at rest using industry-standard encryption. We never store passwords in plaintext and use secure token management.

Can I revoke access to a provider?

Yes, you can revoke access to any provider at any time through your dashboard. This immediately invalidates all tokens.

What happens if my API key is compromised?

Contact support immediately. We can regenerate your API key and invalidate the old one, preventing unauthorized access.
