Get Sites

Fetch all monitored sites for the authenticated team. Each site includes its name and URL. Use this to help the user choose which site to work on.

Get Latest Scan

Fetch the latest completed scan for a site. Returns per-page breakdown with all issues and affected DOM nodes. Each node includes an HTML snippet, CSS selector, XPath, impact level, and a failureSummary containing specific fix instructions. See the 'understanding_failure_summaries' resource for how to interpret failureSummary.

Get Page Scan

Fetch the latest completed scan for a single page. Same structure as the per-page data in get_latest_scan but scoped to one page. Useful when the full site scan is too large or the user wants to focus on a specific page.

Fix Site Accessibility

Find and suggest accessibility fixes across an entire site using the latest A11y Pulse scan. Fetches scan data for all pages, maps violations to source code, and generates concrete fix suggestions grouped by file. Best for site-wide audits. If no siteId is provided, fetches the user's sites and asks them to choose one.

Fix Page Accessibility

Find and suggest accessibility fixes for a single page using the latest A11y Pulse scan. Fetches scan data for one page, maps violations to source code, and generates concrete fix suggestions. Best for targeted work on a specific page. Use get_latest_scan first to find page IDs.

Add Site

Register a new site with A11y Pulse. Automatically creates a Home page from the homePageUrl — to add more pages, call add_pages separately after this tool returns. Requires the 'Manage sites & pages' API key permission. Before calling, surface the optional settings to the user so they can make an informed choice rather than silently accepting defaults: - guidelines: which accessibility standards to audit against. Read the a11y-pulse://resources/guidelines resource for the list of supported ID

Update Site

Update an existing site's settings. Only the fields you provide are changed; omitted fields are left as-is. Requires the 'Manage sites & pages' API key permission. Use get_sites to find the site ID and see current values.

Add Pages

Add one or more pages to an existing site. Use this after add_site to register additional URLs beyond the auto-created Home page, or to add newly-shipped pages to a site that's already being scanned. All-or-nothing — if any URL fails validation, no pages are added. Requires the 'Manage sites & pages' API key permission.

Start Scan

Start a new accessibility scan for a site. Returns immediately with the scan ID — the scan itself runs asynchronously and typically takes a few minutes (longer for large sites). To wait for the scan to finish, call wait_for_scan with the returned scan ID. To poll status later, call get_latest_scan for the site. Requires the 'Trigger scans' API key permission.

Wait For Scan

Wait for a previously-started scan to finish, then return a per-page audit summary — call get_latest_scan for the site to get the full per-issue detail. Blocks for up to ~10 minutes; if the scan hasn't finished by then the tool returns an actionable message and the caller can call wait_for_scan again with the same scan ID or fall back to get_latest_scan later. Requires the 'Read access' API key permission.
