Census Headline
Current headline figures: agents discovered, DISTINCT domains publishing at least one mechanism, and the population probed. The denominator is always included. This count is smaller than the sum of mechanism_adoption's per-mechanism figures, because a domain publishing several mechanisms is one domain.
Mechanism Adoption
Adoption of each discovery mechanism the census probes, over a window, with errors reported separately from misses. The mechanisms are named in the response; a mechanism absent from it has no figures for that window, which is not the same as zero.
Discovery Labels
Where publishers put the discovery record, per mechanism. The conventions disagree about the name a record lives at - the DNS-AID drafts between `_index._agents.<domain>`, `_agent.<domain>` and the apex with no label at all, and MCP between the `_mcp._tcp.<domain>` service record and the unspecified `mcp.<domain>` naming habit - so every domain is probed at each and this is the split. Each variant carries the spec it comes from, or says it comes from none. IMPORTANT: these variants OVERLAP - a d
Lookup Domain
What the census has observed for one registrable domain, including the mechanisms it publishes and when it was last probed.
Search
Search every agent and MCP server the census has discovered. Hybrid lexical and semantic ranking, ordered by relevance only. Without a key: ten results, and each carries what the agent itself publishes - name, description, declared capabilities, protocols, endpoints, and the discovery surfaces it publishes on. Send an `Authorization: Bearer` API key on the MCP request and the same results also carry an `observed` object - what the census concluded by looking, including status, first and last see
