Rewrite From Url

Turn an existing web page or YouTube video into a new article (YouTube URLs are detected automatically). AgilityWriter fetches the source itself, so you do not need to read the page first. Fetch a finished article: full HTML content, meta title, meta description, and featured image URL. Free. Also returns social media posts (Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram and more), but only when the article was created with shoutout_posts enabled - otherwise those fields come back empty. Only call this once get_article_status reports "Complete"; before that the content is empty or partial.

List Projects

List the user's AgilityWriter projects (id, name, active status). create_article accepts a project_name directly, so this is mainly for showing the user their projects or finding the exact name when a mention does not match.

Get Project Settings

Check a polish job started by polish_article, and fetch the polished content once it is done. Poll about every 60 seconds. The status field is the JOB state: "pending" or "processing" mean keep waiting; "success" means the polished_content field is populated; "failed" means it will not finish and the credit was refunded. These are not the same words get_article_status uses. After about 15 minutes, stop polling and tell the user to ask again later.

List Articles

Browse the user's existing AgilityWriter library. Free and read-only. Use it to answer questions about work they already have ("what did I write last week?", "which articles are still generating?", "find my article about X"), and to recover an article_id you no longer have so you can call get_article on it.
