List projects
Use this when the user wants to browse or choose Botern projects before narrowing a case search. Returns accessible projects only.
Browse cases
Use this when the user expects to see Botern cases visually, compare thumbnails, or choose a case from cards. Returns a card grid widget. For compact data-only lookup use query_cases_data; for large cohort analysis or exports use export_cases_dataset.
Find cases
Compatibility alias for browse_cases. Use browse_cases for normal visual Botern case browsing with cards; this tool returns the same card grid widget.
Query cases data
Data-only case lookup with no rendered widget. Use this only when the model needs compact machine-readable case records for internal reasoning, ID lookup, iterative query refinement, or raw lists where visual cards are not useful. Do not use for normal user-facing case search/browse results; use browse_cases for that. For cohort-level analysis, CSV/JSON export, or many flattened form responses, use export_cases_dataset.
Get complete case
Use this when the user wants a full single-case summary before deeper analysis or PPT generation. Returns case metadata, linked projects, form fields with latest responses, flattened form responses, and image metadata. Call get_case_image next when the model needs to inspect specific images directly.
Get case image
Use this when the model needs to directly inspect one or more case images after choosing them from get_case_complete. Returns metadata, full image URLs, and inline image content, preferring full image bytes for model understanding and falling back to thumbnails if needed.
Export cases dataset
Data-only cohort tool with no rendered widget. Use this when the user wants analysis across many Botern cases, filtering, CSV/JSON output, or flattened form responses. Exports one row per case with case metadata, image OCR/caption summaries, and flattened form responses.
Create Botern PPTX
Required tool for creating a downloadable PowerPoint/PPTX file from Botern case data. Use this when the user asks to create, generate, export, or download a Botern case presentation. Do not answer with only a slide outline when a PPTX file is requested. Call this after the relevant cases have been found with browse_cases or query_cases_data, reviewed with get_case_complete, and any slide-critical images have been inspected with get_case_image.
Get your MCP into directories
