Search Recreation.gov parks, campgrounds, tours, and timed-entry facilities by name without account linking. Each result includes inventory_kind so the next step can be inferred from the selected destination.

Get a reservable destination

Get details without account linking for a Recreation.gov park, campground, activity facility, campsite, tour, or entry product using a stable destination ID returned by search_destinations.

Search current campsite availability

Search fresh Recreation.gov inventory cached by Campsite Grabber without account linking, creating a monitoring scan, or contacting Recreation.gov. Call search_destinations first and pass stable IDs from one destination type. arrival_start_date and arrival_end_date are the earliest and latest acceptable arrival dates; for a fixed July 10–13 trip, pass July 10 for both arrival dates and 3 for both stay lengths. Only say no availability exists when coverage.can_conclude_no_availability is true.

Get campsite monitoring entitlement

Check whether the linked account has campsite monitoring access and review its account-wide active scan count and limit.

List notifications

List recent Campsite Grabber notifications for the linked account, optionally limited to unread items. Messages and scan actions are returned without raw internal event data.

Update one linked-account scan. Fetch it first, pass its current version, and ask the user to confirm the changes before setting confirmed to true. An active scan is rechecked and can later send configured alerts.

Resume a campsite scan

Resume one linked-account monitoring scan. Ask the user to confirm before setting confirmed to true; subscription and active-scan limits still apply. Resuming starts checks that can later send configured alerts.

Get availability

Get current campsite, tour, or timed-entry matches for one scan. Activity matches include the facility-local date and time. Never interpret an empty list as no matches unless availability_summary.latest_result exists.

Get scan history

Get monitoring metrics and up to 100 recent availability, alert, and scan-activity events for one linked-account scan.

Permanently delete one linked-account scan, including its settings and history. Ask the user to explicitly confirm before setting confirmed to true.
