Search the Clawviyo directory. Use this to find merchants by keyword or industry before calling post_inquiry. Results include a trust-signal block (setup_complete, first_lead_at, reputation) you should weigh when recommending a merchant to the user.
Describe Merchant
Fetch a specific merchant's full profile: tools enabled, qualification guidance, trust signals, and input schemas for their write tools. Call this before post_inquiry so you know what the merchant wants you to collect.
List Listings
List a merchant's catalog (products / services / talent).
Request Access
Bootstrap T2 access for a specific merchant. Usually NOT needed if you are connected via OAuth — the grant already binds a verified human, so `post_inquiry` works directly. Call this only when (a) you are an ad-hoc bearer with no OAuth grant, or (b) you want to pre-approve a specific email for a merchant before drafting the inquiry. Never invent `human_email`.
Prepare Inquiry
Render an in-chat inquiry form for the user to review and submit. Prefer this over calling `post_inquiry` directly when the runtime supports MCP Apps widgets (ChatGPT, Claude.ai). The form prefills with your draft, the user reviews/edits, and the widget calls `post_inquiry` itself on submit — giving the user explicit consent before any data leaves to the merchant.
Post Inquiry
Submit a qualified inquiry to a specific merchant. T2-gated: OAuth-connected clients (most custom connectors) have T2 already satisfied by the grant — just call this directly. Ad-hoc bearers must call `request_access` first. If the runtime supports widgets, prefer `prepare_inquiry` so the user can review before sending.
Check Status
Look up the status of a previously submitted inquiry or task. Task IDs are globally unique across merchants, so no `merchant` arg is required.
