get_account_info
Get the authenticated Docsumo account: email, full name, user ID,
monthly document usage and limits, and the list of active document types.
Useful as a first call to verify the API key works and to discover which
document types (e.g. 'invoice', 'us_bank_statement') are available for
uploads.
Get Account Info — Get the authenticated Docsumo account: email, full name, user ID,
monthly document usage and limits, and the list of active document types.
Useful as a first call to verify the API key works and to discover which
document types (e.g. 'invoice', 'us_bank_statement') are available for
uploads.
List Document Types — List the document types currently enabled for this Docsumo account.
Use the returned type values (e.g. 'invoice', 'us_bank_statement') as the
`doc_type` argument of upload_document and list_documents.
Get Bank Statement Analytics — Get financial analytics for a processed bank statement document:
cash-flow metrics, spending patterns, balances, and transaction insights.
Only works for documents of a bank statement type that have finished
processing. Get the doc_id from list_documents. Use mode='all' for the
full metric set.
List Agents — List the agents configured in this Docsumo account, including case
types and document types. The starting point for case work: returns the
casetype_id values required by every other case tool.
Get Case Type Details — Get the configuration of a case type: its stages (stage_id values),
case fields, document types, and workflow settings. Consult this before
creating or updating cases of that type.
List Cases — List cases for a case type, with paging, sorting, and filters by
stage, assignee, workflow state, and created/modified date (YYYY-MM-DD).
Get the casetype_id from list_agents; returns case_id values for the
other case tools.
Get Case Overview — Get the overview of a single case: name, stage, assignee, and
workflow state.
`include` is a comma-separated list of related sections to embed:
'doctypes', 'fields', 'approvals', 'exports', 'documents' (e.g.
include='fields, documents' to also get case field values and the
documents attached to the case).

Operate Docsumo?
This server appears in the MCPBundles directory. Verify you operate it to take over the listing — name, description, logo, contact email, and skill content. We email a 6-digit code to a maintainer address your server publishes in /.well-known/security.txt or /.well-known/mcpbundles.json. Free, takes about a minute.
MCPBundles publishes this directory for MCP discovery. Except where we host or operate an offering, third-party services run under their own terms. Product and company names on this page are used in a descriptive, identifying way (including under nominative fair use where applicable); they remain the property of their owners. Nothing here grants you rights in those marks, and nothing here is an offer to sell a third party's services. Terms · Request removal

— Create a new case for a case type (or add to an existing one), and
optionally upload documents into it.
Get the casetype_id from list_agents and stage_id values from
get_case_type_details. Pass `case_id` to add files/fields to an existing
case instead of creating a new one. Attach documents via `files`
(Base64-encoded, with `doctype` set to their document type). By default
the case type's workflow runs after upload; set trigger_workflow=false
to prevent that. `case_fields` initializes case fiel
Update Case — Update a case: rename it, move it to another stage, set case field
values, reassign it, or act on a pending Human-in-the-Loop approval.
Stage IDs and case field keys come from get_case_type_details. `approval`
specifies the HIL action, e.g. {"approval_id": ..., "action": "approve"}.
Set trigger_workflow=true to run the case type's workflow after the
update. Only the fields you pass are changed.
Run Case Workflow — Trigger the workflow configured on a case type for one case — e.g.
after uploading documents with trigger_workflow=false, or to re-run
processing after updating case fields.
Upload Document — Upload a document to Docsumo for data extraction.
Pass either a public URL (file_type='url') or Base64-encoded file content
(file_type='base64', filename required, e.g. 'invoice.pdf') in `file`.
Supported extensions: pdf, jpg, jpeg, png, tiff. `doc_type` must be one of
the account's enabled types — discover them with list_document_types.
Returns the created document with its doc_id; extraction runs
asynchronously, so poll list_documents or get_extracted_data until the
document status is 'proce
List Documents — List documents in the Docsumo account, newest first by default.
Filters: `doc_type` (a type value from list_document_types), `status`
('reviewing' = awaiting human review, 'processed' = done, 'erred' =
failed), `q` (partial match on document title), `created_date` (format
'[operator]:[YYYY-MM-DD]', e.g. 'gte:2025-01-01' or 'lte:2025-06-30'),
and `view`/`folder_id` to scope to a folder. Returns each document's
doc_id for use with the other document tools.
Get Document Details — Get metadata for a single document: title, type, status, folder,
page count and per-page image URLs.
Get the doc_id from list_documents or from an upload_document response.
For the extracted field values, use get_extracted_data instead.
Get Extracted Data — Get the data extracted from a document as simplified JSON: key-value
fields and line-item tables, as extracted by Docsumo's models (and
corrected by human reviewers, if any).
This is the main result endpoint — call it once the document status is
'processed' (or 'reviewing'). Get the doc_id from list_documents.
Get Documents Summary — Get a summary of all documents grouped by document type, with counts
per processing status (reviewing, processed, erred). A quick account-wide
overview of the processing pipeline.
Change Review Status — Change the human-review status of a document.
Actions: 'start' moves the document into review, 'end' completes the
review and approves the extracted data, 'skip' bypasses review. Use
forced=true to override review-stage restrictions (e.g. approving a
document someone else is reviewing); `strict` enforces field-level
validation rules when ending a review.
Get Review Url — Generate a temporary, shareable URL for reviewing a document in the
Docsumo review screen. The link works for people without a Docsumo
account — useful for handing extraction results to a human for
verification. Set signed_url=true for a signed variant.
