Describe the workspace
Describe the workspace this connection reaches: name, time zone, plan, the role you act with, the daily request quota, and how many channels are connected. Call this first.
List channels
List the social accounts connected to the workspace. Each channel carries its platform, connection health, and the rules of its platform: the content types it can publish with caption and media limits, whether text-only posts are allowed or media is required, and which comment and DM actions are available. Use the channel id from here as a target when creating a post.
Platform capabilities
What each social network can do through eksis, whether or not a channel is connected: publishable content types with caption and media limits, whether a platform needs media (YouTube and TikTok publish video only, Instagram needs an image or video), which platforms expose comments, DMs, private replies, metrics, and first comments, and the reason when something is unavailable. Read this before composing for a platform you have not used yet. Pass platform to read one network.
List posts
List posts newest first. Filter by status (draft, pending_approval, scheduled, publishing, published, partially_published, failed) or by channel ids. Returns nextCursor for the next page.
Read one post
Read one post with every target: channel, content type, caption, media, status, permalink, and the failure reason when publishing failed. This is how you learn whether a post went out.
Create a post
Create a post for one or more channels. mode decides what happens: draft saves without publishing, schedule needs scheduledAt, queue takes the next free slot in the channel queue, now publishes immediately. Media must exist in the library first (see upload_media_from_url) and is referenced by id. When contentType is left out, the most fitting type for the platform and media is chosen.
Replace a post
Replace a post that has not been published yet. Send the whole post, not a partial change: targets left out are removed.
Delete a post
Delete a post that has not gone out yet. A published post lives on the platform and cannot be deleted from eksis.
Publish now
Publish a saved post right now. Returns as soon as publishing is queued; call get_post afterwards to see how each target ended up.
List media
List images and videos in the media library, newest first. Filter by type (image or video).
Import media from a URL
Download an image or video from a public URL into the media library so a post can use it. Returns the media id and its dimensions. Accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, MP4, MOV, and WebM.
List comments
List comments other people left on your posts, newest first. Filter by status (open, assigned, done), by channel ids, or by a text search. Your own comments are not included.
Reply to a comment
Reply to a comment on the platform right away and mark it done. On X a reply costs X credits, like any other post there.
