Create account
Create a free api.email account: a namespace (subdomain) plus an api_key. No auth needed. Store the api_key — it is shown only once. Any address at *@{namespace}.api.email then receives mail.
Create inbox address
Generate a fresh unique email address in your namespace. Any tag works without registration; this simply proposes a random one.
Usage and limits
Current month email count and the plan limits for the authenticated account.
List messages
List received emails, newest first. Filter by tag, tag_prefix, namespace, since.
Get message
Fetch one email by id (from list_messages/wait_for_message), including extracted OTP codes and links.
Wait for message
Long-poll for a matching email (up to 55s): returns the newest already-received match immediately, or waits for the next arrival. Pass since (epoch ms or ISO 8601) to wait for new mail only. Returns extracted OTP codes and verification links.
