Event — A bank holiday with title, date (YYYY-MM-DD), notes (e.g. "Substitute day"), and bunting (boolean).

Key Facts

Bank holidays differ across divisions — Scotland and Northern Ireland have unique holidays (e.g. St Andrew's Day, Battle of the Boyne).
Substitute days occur when a bank holiday falls on a weekend — the substitute is usually the following Monday.
The API includes historical bank holidays from 2019 onwards and future scheduled dates.
Data is maintained by the UK Cabinet Office.
