Query

Run a read-only GROQ query against the production dataset.

Create Draft

Create a draft of a landingPage or blogPost. Always create a draft first; never publish directly. Returns the draft _id and a preview URL.

Patch Document

Apply a set/unset patch to an existing draft. Use for iterative edits ("shorten the headline", "swap the testimonial").

Publish

Promote a draft to the published document. ONLY call after the user has explicitly confirmed ("ship it", "publish", "go live"). Never call speculatively.

Upload Asset

Upload an image to Sanity. Use URL mode when the user pastes a web link (from Unsplash, Figma, etc.). Use base64 mode when the user drops an image file directly into chat — pass the image bytes as base64 with the mimeType. Exactly one of url or base64 must be provided. Returns an asset reference you can drop into any image field (hero images, OG images, blog cover, inline images).
