Archer Ask

Submit a read-only infrastructure diagnostic question to Archer's local LLM. Returns a structured assessment. Use for stack state queries not covered by the archer_query allowlist. scope: diagnostic | investigation | state-check model: t1 (Qwen2.5:7b, fast) | t2 (Qwen3.5-122B, reasoning) — default t2 constraints: what Archer should NOT do (optional) Commits comms/ask/<id>.md to knivos-core, polls comms/response/<id>.md. Timeout: 90 seconds.

Archer Diagnose

Natural language diagnostic via Archer T2-fast (Qwen3.5). No tool access — LLM reasoning only. IMPORTANT: This tool has NO ability to read files or execute commands. It responds purely from the model's knowledge of the stack. Do NOT use for live state checks (use archer_query) or file reading (use read_doc or archer_ask). Using it for file content will produce fabricated output with no warning. Use for: reasoning about stack design, interpreting context you provide inline, synthesising pattern

Archer Query

NATS-based query to Archer listener. Executes commands on target host. Args: command: Shell command to execute host: Target host (default: vm200) timeout: Seconds to wait for response (default: 30) Returns: {ok: bool, stdout: str, stderr: str, exit_code: int}

Gate Resolve

Resolve a CCF design gate by ID. Moves the gate from open_gates to resolved_gates in SESSION_STATE.json, commits the change to VM200, and publishes knivos.construction.gate.resolved to NATS. Trigger Flow

Publish to a whitelisted NATS subject to trigger a KnivOS flow. Does not constitute approval — receiving flows enforce their own gate chains. Args: subject: NATS subject. Must be in the server-side whitelist. payload: JSON-serialisable dict forwarded as the message body. auth_context: Optional free-text field for audit trail.

Read Finding

Read recent CC findings. Returns {ok: bool, findings: list}.

Poll Inbox

Drain unread CC findings. Returns empty list if inbox clean — never errors.

Push Task

Publish task to knivos.claude.tasks. Returns {ok: false, error} on NATS failure.
