List rental locations

List the pickup and return locations Kristiine Autorent operates from in Tallinn, Estonia, with the numeric ids that search_available_cars requires. Call this first to translate a place name (for example "Tallinn airport") into a location id.

Search available cars

Search cars available for a rental period and return the total price of each. Dates are wall-clock time in Tallinn (Europe/Tallinn), format YYYY-MM-DDTHH:mm, and minutes must be 00 or 30. Location ids come from list_rental_locations. This fills in the booking form on the page, shows the results to the user, and clears any previously selected car and extras.

Select a car

Pick one of the cars returned by search_available_cars, move the user to the extras step, and return the insurance and accessory options for that car. Run search_available_cars first.

List insurance and extras

List the insurance packages and accessories available for the selected car and rental period, with their prices and whether each one is currently selected. Requires a car to be selected first.

Set insurance and extras

Replace the whole set of selected extras with the given service ids, so pass every id that should end up selected and omit the rest. At most one INSURANCE service may be included. Ids come from list_extra_services or select_car.

Get the current booking

Read back everything currently selected on the page: rental period, locations, car, extras, coupons and the full price breakdown including the deposit. Use this to confirm the booking with the user before submitting it.

Submit the booking as a new customer

Place the booking for the currently selected car, period and extras, registering the renter as a new customer. This creates a real, binding rental booking and sends a confirmation email, so only call it once the user has reviewed get_booking_summary and explicitly confirmed all of the personal details and the rental terms. If the renter has booked here before, use submit_booking_returning_customer instead.

Submit the booking as a returning customer

Place the booking for the currently selected car, period and extras using only the email address of a customer who has rented here before. This creates a real, binding rental booking and sends a confirmation email, so only call it once the user has reviewed get_booking_summary and explicitly confirmed. Fails if no customer with that email exists, in which case use submit_booking_new_customer.
