Lotiq Discover

Use this when you need to explore what data is available, browse resource schemas, or check field types and relationships. Call without parameters for all categories, with a category to see its resources, or with a resource name for full field details and an example query. Set explore_filters=true with a resource to see what values each filterable field contains (e.g., what makes are at auction, what states have auctions).

Lotiq Guide

Use this when you're unsure which tool or resource to use. Provides recipes mapping common questions to the right tool calls, formatting tips for monetary values and dates, and workflow patterns. Call FIRST when unsure about a user's question.

Lotiq Query

Use this when you need to fetch specific records — vehicles, deals, customers, auction vehicles, or buy box recommendations. Supports filtering, sorting, full-text search, joins, and pagination. Always include primary_photo_url when querying vehicles for display. Monetary fields end in _cents (integers in cents).

Lotiq Aggregate

Use this when you need counts, totals, or averages without paging through records. Examples: count deals by stage, sum vehicle listing prices, compute average days in inventory. Supports count, sum, avg, min, max with optional group_by.

Lotiq Action

Use this when you need to create, update, delete, or transition records. Supports vehicles, deals, deal_jackets, deal_fees, deal_addons, deal_notes, customers, customer_notes, customer_addresses, customer_appointments, tasks, tcpa_consents (create/revoke), thread_messages (send), customer_credit_checks (run), stripe_invoices (pay), stripe_payments (refund), pickup_installments (mark_paid), pickup_payment_plans (cancel). Dangerous operations (delete, revoke, refund, cancel, terminal transitions)

Lotiq Report

Use this when you need dashboard-style analytics with pre-computed metrics and breakdowns. Available: inventory_summary, deal_pipeline, sales_performance, aging_analysis, customer_activity, website_analytics, billing_overview, form_link_performance, messaging_analytics, routeone_funnel, segment_benchmarks. NOT for specific records (use lotiq_query) or purchase advice (use lotiq_query on buy_box_recommendations).
