The Met Office Global Spot product provides site-specific weather forecasts for any latitude/longitude worldwide, powered by the UK's national meteorological service.

Data Model

• Hourly forecast — 18 parameters, 48-hour horizon, updated hourly.
• Three-hourly forecast — 21 parameters, 168-hour (7 day) horizon, updated hourly.
• Daily forecast — 41 parameters, 7-day horizon (1 past + 6 future), updated hourly.

• feelsLikeTemperature — apparent temperature (°C)
• windSpeed10m — wind speed at 10m (m/s)
• windGustSpeed10m — wind gust speed (m/s)

• screenRelativeHumidity — relative humidity (%)

Gotchas

• Access: Global Spot forecasts are provisioned through the Met Office DataHub product line.
• GeoJSON format: All responses are GeoJSON FeatureCollections with time series data.
• Global coverage: Works for any lat/lon worldwide, not just the UK.
• No parameter subsetting: All parameters for the chosen time step are always returned.
• Coordinates: Standard latitude (-90 to 90) and longitude (-180 to 180).
