Match Providers
Match a merchant to payment providers the way a payment consultant would: give business criteria, get a ranked shortlist with 0-100 scores, plain-language reasons, industry risk warnings, and (when volume is given) an estimated monthly processing cost per provider. Includes providers not yet registered on paymentproviders.io when their researched data matches. Each result carries introducible — true when the provider claimed their profile and enabled lead matching, i.e. request_introduction will
Search Providers
Free-text search over the payment-provider directory (1,200+ providers, typo-tolerant). Returns compact cards; use get_provider for full detail.
Get Provider
Full profile for one provider by slug: fees, payment methods, countries, platforms, features, API/SDK info, claimed status. Compliance detail (licenses, regulators, registry records, legal entities) requires OAuth sign-in — anonymous calls get counts plus a sign-in pointer.
Compare Providers
Side-by-side detail for 2-5 providers by slug.
List Filters
Every legal filter/criteria value: categories, regions, countries, platforms, payment methods (with provider counts), plus the industry, volume, avg-transaction and priority enums match_providers accepts.
Request Introduction
Request introductions to providers from a match: creates a lead per provider with the merchant's contact details. Works without signing in — unless the signed-in account IS the merchant, a confirmation email is sent to the merchant's address first, and nothing reaches any provider until they click it (within 24 hours). After confirmation, providers with introducible:true (claimed profile + lead matching on) are notified directly; for the rest the merchant's interest is recorded WITHOUT a promise
List My Listings
The full state of every provider listing YOUR signed-in account owns: each owner-editable profile field's current value, plus the listing's onboarding criteria (which merchants it wants), its lead_status, and how many introductions are held waiting on it. Call this before update_my_listing or update_my_criteria to see what can change. Returns an empty list when you own none — a claim or submission still in moderation does NOT count as owned (check where it stands with list_my_requests); claim_li
List My Requests
Where every ownership request filed by your account (or an org teammate) stands in moderation: claim_listing claims and submit_provider submissions, newest first — status pending (in review, typically resolved within 2 business days), approved, or rejected with the moderator's reason. A pending request is NOT an owned listing yet, so it won't appear in list_my_listings until approved — this is the tool that answers 'did my claim/submission go through?'.
Update My Listing
Update a provider listing your account OWNS (check with list_my_listings). Send only the fields to change; array fields are replaced wholesale ([] clears). Changes go live immediately — settlement_time is parsed into structured hours ('Instant', '1-2 business days', 'Weekly', …), settlement_currencies are ISO codes (USD, EUR, SEK, …).
Update My Criteria
Set the ONBOARDING CRITERIA for a listing your account OWNS — which merchants you want. This is the opposite side of the profile: update_my_listing says what you CAN do (shown to merchants), criteria say who you WANT (never shown to merchants). Send only the fields to change; array fields are replaced wholesale ([] clears, meaning 'any'). active is the master switch — the single 'accept merchant leads' bit. With it ON, merchants can request introductions to you and their contact details reach
Submit Provider
Propose a NEW provider listing for the directory. Goes into the moderation queue as pending; on approval it publishes and your account becomes its owner. Track its status with list_my_requests. For a provider that is ALREADY listed, use claim_listing instead (search_providers to check). A logo can be added later in the portal.
Claim Listing
Claim ownership of an EXISTING provider listing on behalf of the provider (you work there). Creates a pending claim reviewed by a moderator; once approved, your account can manage the listing (update_my_listing). Track its status with list_my_requests. Find the slug with search_providers.
