Use this for multi-day trends or long-term history. For intraday data (today, last few hours, last 24 h) use get_sensor_short_log instead. For sensors: specify 'days' or 'start_date'+'end_date'. For switches/text devices: specify 'days'/'start_date'/'end_date' for a date range, or 'count' for last N events. For scene/group activation history use

• Get recent/live sensor readings (last hours or N samples)

  Retrieve recent high-resolution measurements at ~5-minute intervals from the short-log tables. Use this for: today's data, last 24 hours, last N readings, live/recent sensor values. Kept for a configurable number of days (default 1 day). For multi-day or long-term history use get_sensor_history instead. Not applicable to switches/text devices or scenes.

  Create a new user variable. Types: 0=Integer, 1=Float, 2=String, 3=Date (DD/MM/YYYY), 4=Time (HH:MM).
