Give a reference pitch

Sound a reference note — or a few — on the pitch pipe in ONE chosen voice. Set `together:true` to sound them AT ONCE as a chord in that single voice; otherwise they play in order. Use for 'give me a C', a tuning reference, or a note to match. For DIFFERENT musicians on different notes use give_harmony; for a key's starting pitches use starting_notes.

Voices in harmony

Several singers each take a different note and sound them TOGETHER (or staggered). Easiest: pass a chord as {root, quality, voices?} and the app builds the tones and casts the musicians (bass tone→lower voice). Or pass explicit {note,voice} pairs in `voicing`. Starting notes for a key / song

Hand a singer or a group their STARTING pitches for a key — the tonic chord tones. Pass `key` (e.g. 'F major', 'A minor') and optional `parts` (labels like ['S','A','T','B'] or a count). WITH parts, each part is voiced by its matching musician (Soprano=Léa, Alto=Blue Jay, Tenor=Soulman, Baritone=Harry Kim, Bass=Deep Bass) and they sound together by default; WITHOUT parts, the tonic tones play in order in the current voice as a quick reference. Perfect for a cappella / SATB / SATBB.

Pitch / ear-training quiz

Generate an ear-training drill, then COACH the user. type 'note' (name the note), 'interval' (name the interval between two notes — optionally target one with `interval`), or 'chord' (name the quality — major/minor/diminished/augmented). The card hides the answer (shows '?') until Reveal; the tool RESULT gives you the answer to grade with — never say it until they guess. Do NOT call give_pitch to preview the answer (it would leak). Ask them to tap the card, then answer.

Chord progression

Build a chord progression the musicians sing — each chord sounds together, then steps steadily to the next, looping. Two ways to give the chords: `chords` for a simple list (roman numerals with a `key`, e.g. ['I','V','vi','IV'], or symbols ['C','G','Am','F']), OR `steps` when each chord needs its OWN singer, e.g. Léa sings C then Soulman sings C. To repeat a chord, just list it again (there is no repeat count). Set the gap between changes with `intervalMs` (e.g. 2500 for 2.5s). NOT a tempo/BPM b
