Data Model

• Tickets — repair jobs; have status, line items, and link to estimates/invoices.
• Estimates — quotes before work; can convert to invoices.
• Invoices — bills; link to payments.
• Line Items — individual charges on estimates or invoices.
• Products / Items — sellable items and parts.
• Appointments — scheduled visits; use Appointment Types.
• Leads — prospective customers before conversion.
• Contracts — service agreements.

Gotchas

• Ticket-centric: Most workflows start from a ticket; estimates and invoices are created from tickets.
