Search Motions

Search the RigMuse motion-capture library (39,672 clips) by words, category and movement traits. Returns clip ids you can pass to get_motion or download_motion. Categories include locomotion, combat, gesture, idle, pose, dance and more — call list_categories for all of them.

List Categories

Every motion category with how many clips it holds, plus the library totals in clips, seconds and frames.

Get Motion

Everything known about one clip: title, category, description, tags, length, frame rate, intensity, whether it loops or travels, and its file sizes.

Get Skeleton

The skeleton every clip in the library shares: CC_Base from Reallusion Character Creator, 101 bones, Y-up, centimetres. Call this BEFORE retargeting so you know what you are retargeting FROM. All 39,672 clips carry the same bones, so a mapping you work out once holds for every clip.

Map Bones

Work out how to drive a target rig with these clips. Give it the bone names of the skeleton you want to animate (a Unity avatar, the Unreal mannequin, a Mixamo character, anything) and it returns which CC_Base bone feeds each one, which joints the rig is MISSING, which bones to leave unmapped, and what each kind of bad result means. Use this when the rig does not match — it is the answer to "the retarget looks wrong and I do not know why".

Motion Download Url

A temporary direct download link for a clip (five minutes), for when the file should go somewhere this machine cannot write.

Design Create

Compose a design and get a link that opens it in the RigMuse editor at rigmuse.com, with every layer LIVE — the type still typeable, the shapes still editable. Give the person the returned url; nothing is uploaded and no account is needed. Layers are listed BOTTOM TO TOP, the order you would build the page in. Call design_reference first if you are unsure of a canvas size or a field.

Design Reference

What the editor can build: every canvas preset by name, every field of every layer type, and the layout rules that decide whether a design lands right (where y is measured from, how a text block grows, what makes an image fail). Read this before the first design_create.

Account Status

Whether this server can reach the person’s RigMuse account, whose account it is, and how many designs are waiting to be collected. Call it when a design was meant to go to the account and you want to know it arrived, or when to_account failed and you need to say why.

Social Post

Post to the RigMuse Facebook Page and its Instagram account — now, or at a time. Needs a RigMuse token whose account is on the allow-list in Admin → Social. A picture is an https URL or a data URI; Instagram needs a picture and takes JPEG only; Facebook takes words alone. Returns each platform’s answer with a link, or the row that is waiting when a time was given.

Social Queue

What has been posted or is waiting to be posted to the RigMuse Facebook Page and Instagram — status, time, the links, and why a failed one failed. Same token rule as social_post.
