For AI agents — MCPBundles Directory API
Recommended: Directory API v1 over HTTP for detail and anonymous invoke when eligible (not MCP JSON-RPC on the publisher URL; no user MCPBundles credentials on v1).
GET https://www.mcpbundles.com/api/directory/v1/servers/scribeless-mcp-3158c8491e
GET https://www.mcpbundles.com/api/directory/v1/servers/scribeless-mcp-3158c8491e?live=1 (optional live refresh)
GET https://www.mcpbundles.com/api/directory/v1/servers/scribeless-mcp-3158c8491e/tools/<tool> (one tool: schema + invoke.url)
POST https://www.mcpbundles.com/api/directory/v1/servers/scribeless-mcp-3158c8491e/tools/{tool}
POST body: flat JSON of tool argument names and values; not an arguments wrapper. Replace {tool} with a tool name from GET detail.
Restricted agent shell (ChatGPT Codex desktop, some IDE sandboxes):
Default command sandboxes often block outbound network. curl exit 6 or "Could not resolve host" for www.mcpbundles.com is usually sandbox DNS — not evidence this site is down.
Retry the same Directory API GET with sandbox_permissions "require_escalated" and a one-sentence justification on the shell tool (Codex on-request approval). Do not tell the user the site is unreachable from sandbox curl alone.
Example justification: Run the public MCPBundles Directory API search outside the command sandbox to complete the user's MCP server lookup.
If the agent has browser access (e.g. Codex @Browser): open https://www.mcpbundles.com/?q=<query> or stay on this page — no shell network needed. Use WebMCP search_mcp_servers then get_mcp_server (document.modelContext / page tools; refresh with fetchTools or getTools if a tool id is missing from the snapshot). Read-only directory search; same index as Directory API v1 GETs. Neither WebMCP nor Directory API v1 uses user MCPBundles credentials.
Without a browser: after escalated curl fails, use GET https://www.mcpbundles.com/?q=<query> with Accept: text/markdown for ranked results.
Hub MCP (connected session): discover_mcp_servers — same filter semantics as search_mcp_servers.

Add recipients to a campaign, up to 10000 per call and as many calls as needed (see list-campaigns, create-campaign, or a campaign from create-handwritten-note or send-note). Add Recipients — Add recipients to a campaign, up to 10000 per call and as many calls as needed (see list-campaigns, create-campaign, or a campaign from create-handwritten-note or send-note). Use top-level recipient fields for built-in placeholders such as {{first_name}}. Put custom values in variables.custom1, variables.custom2, and so on for matching template placeholders. Cancel Recipient — Cancel one recipient's unpaid note before checkout completes, e.g. when the sender changes their mind or a checkout link was created by mistake. Only notes still awaiting payment can be cancelled; once paid, a note enters production and cannot be recalled. Guest notes need the guest_token that created them; team notes need matching OAuth or X-API-Key authentication.
Choose Note Branding — After showing the first plain preview, ask whether the note is personal or business mail and collect optional logo/back image URLs in a form when supported. Use only for business mail or when branding preferences are unclear; skip branding prompts for clearly personal mail. Proactively use an already supplied relevant business logo in preview-note. Declining keeps the note plain. No authentication, payment, or sending.
Connect Account — Create or connect a Scribeless account through OAuth. New users complete secure signup and email verification; their first team is created automatically. Existing users select a team. When this conversation has guest work, include its guest_token so every guest template, campaign, and recipient moves into that team after sign-in, paid or not; work that is mid-render, mid-payment or printing follows in the background. Unpaid guest checkout links stop working once connected. Keep the same input wh
Create Bulk Shipping Campaign — Create a quantity-only bulk-shipping campaign from an owned template. Every unpersonalized unit ships together to one address. Requires team OAuth or X-API-Key authentication.

— Create a direct-mail campaign from one of your team's existing templates, ready to receive recipients via add-recipients. The paper comes from the template; envelope sealing, stamp, postage class, and return address are set here. Requires Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key for a team.
Create Handwritten Note — First show preview-note with a sample envelope before collecting postal addresses. Once the user is happy with the card and has confirmed the real addresses, create the draft in a single call: a template with the message, a one-time campaign, every recipient as pending, and a real persisted preview of the first recipient. Accepts the same paper, design, handwriting, optional logo/back image, envelope, return-address, and recipients configuration as send-note; one recipient or many, with placehol
Create Template — Create a reusable template on a selected paper, optionally prefilled with a handwritten message. Messages may use placeholders such as {{first_name}} or {{variables.custom1}} for available direct recipient variables. Unknown or ambiguous placeholders are rejected. Use scribeless://paper-sizes for product_id, then open the returned editor URL for visual changes. Requires Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key for a team.
Get Campaign Checkout Link — Start billing for one owned one-time campaign with pending recipients, all of them in one checkout. May return a Stripe link, invoice immediately, or queue subscription/off-platform billing. Guests pass their guest_token and always get a payment link; teams use Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key. A checkout link charges nothing - the user pays on the checkout page - so never ask a guest to confirm payment: once the message and recipients are confirmed, get the checkout link and share it straight a
Get Campaign — Get current status, recipient metrics, template, and product details for one of your campaigns. Guests pass their guest_token; teams use Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key.
Get Pricing — Get per-note pricing for publicly available handwritten products, plus the postage stamp price added to each note. Quotes marked sendable can be passed as product_id to preview-note and send-note to choose the paper. Account-specific pricing can differ; the checkout total is final. No authentication required.
Get Preview Options — Load handwriting preview cards and publicly sendable paper choices for the note preview controls. No authentication, payment, or sending.
Get Template — Get current published product and version details for one of the authenticated team's templates. Requires Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key for a team.
List Campaigns — List campaigns for the authenticated team, optionally filtered by status. Requires Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key for a team.
List Designs — List optional public Scribeless catalog artwork metadata: names, descriptions, categories, paper details, and design IDs. Use only when the user or agent deliberately wants catalog artwork. The default note is a plain handwritten page and envelope; call preview-note directly without browsing this catalog. For custom business branding use logo_url or back_image_url on preview-note instead. No images are rendered. Call preview-designs only for an explicit artwork comparison. No authentication requ
List Handwriting Styles — List every handwriting style with a visual description and suggested uses so you can choose without rendering images. If the user wants to compare handwriting visually, call preview-handwriting-styles with the selected style names; each native image writes the style name in its own handwriting. Use preview-note for the full note.
List Templates — List templates owned by the authenticated team with their last updated timestamps. Requires Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key for a team.
Preview Designs — Show artwork previews for selected public Scribeless designs in an inline viewer. Call only when the user explicitly asks to see or compare designs. Use list-designs to discover IDs and choose from metadata without images. Use preview-note to show the chosen card with its handwritten message. No authentication required; nothing is sent or charged.
Preview Handwriting Styles — Visually compare Scribeless handwriting styles. Returns a separate native PNG image for each selected style, writing its own name in the actual handwriting, in an inline preview viewer with descriptions. Omit styles to show all. Use list-handwriting-styles for descriptions alone when a visual preview is unnecessary. No authentication required; nothing is sent or charged.
Preview Note — Start here whenever the user wants to send someone a real handwritten card, note, or letter by post - a thank-you, birthday, sympathy, congratulations, or client note. Write every message as a template: anything that differs per recipient - their name, company, or any other recipient field or custom value - is a placeholder such as {{first_name}}, {{company}} or {{variables.custom1}}, never typed literally. This holds for a single recipient too, and when the user's own wording includes those det
Preview Recipient — Show an existing rendered recipient preview inline, including its personalized template variables. Does not rerender, send, or charge. Guests pass their guest_token; teams use Scribeless OAuth or an X-API-Key.
Send Note — Send a handwritten note or postcard by post to one or many recipients. Start with preview-note using draft wording and its sample envelope before collecting mailing addresses; call send-note only after the user reviews the card and confirms the real recipient details. Every recipient shares one template and one campaign and is billed in one checkout. Write the message once with placeholders such as {{first_name}} so each note is personal. Postcards (pick one via product_id) travel without an env
Start Account Setup — Start creating a Scribeless account when the user asks to make an account, register, or sign up. Returns the secure signup link and next steps, or confirms this session already has a connected team. No authentication or personal details required. The user completes signup and email verification on Scribeless; this tool does not create an account by itself. After signup, call connect-account.
Track Recipient — Check the status of one recipient's note by its recipient id. Notes travel with real postage, so there is no carrier tracking: statuses run pending (awaiting payment), ready, printing, shipped. A smart QR scan, when the design includes one, is the only signal that the note was received.
Update Bulk Shipping Quantity — Set the quantity on an owned pending quantity-only bulk shipping campaign. Reducing the quantity deletes excess pending units and, when it needs them, expires any open checkout link for the campaign. Requires team OAuth or X-API-Key authentication.
