SFT Brain helps you create, organize, and review flashcards from ChatGPT. After connecting your SFT Brain account, you can save question-and-answer cards, search existing flashcards, review due cards, record answers with AI feedback, save visual study widgets, and view learning progress. Use it for studying, language learning, coding concepts, exam prep, and retaining information from conversations.

Return a list of relevant search results for a query
Search — Return a list of relevant search results for a query
Fetch — Fetch the full contents of a document by id
Add Flashcard — Add a new flashcard to your study deck, optionally placing it in a named deck (creates the deck if it does not exist). If the question is semantically similar to existing cards, the tool returns a ranked possible_duplicates list and does NOT create a card until you re-call it with merge_into=<id> (to merge and bump frequency) or add_anyway=true.
Update Flashcard — Update an existing flashcard
Save Flashcard Visualization — Save visualization HTML to an existing flashcard so it can be rendered later in SFT Brain. Replaces any existing visualization for that flashcard.
List Flashcards — Retrieve flashcards from your study deck
Get Recent Flashcards — Get recently added flashcards sorted by creation date
Get Due Flashcards — Get flashcards that are due for review today (spaced repetition)
Get Flashcard Statistics — Get statistics about your flashcard deck and learning progress
Rate Flashcard Response — Save a flashcard review with score and feedback. ChatGPT evaluates the user answer and provides score (0-100) and feedback, then this tool saves it to the database and updates the spaced repetition schedule.
Archive Flashcard — Archive or unarchive a flashcard. Archived cards are hidden from study/review but are not deleted and can be unarchived later.

Operate SFT Brain?
This server appears in the MCPBundles directory. Verify you operate it to take over the listing — name, description, logo, contact email, and skill content. We email a 6-digit code to a maintainer address your server publishes in /.well-known/security.txt or /.well-known/mcpbundles.json. Free, takes about a minute.
MCPBundles publishes this directory for MCP discovery. Except where we host or operate an offering, third-party services run under their own terms. Product and company names on this page are used in a descriptive, identifying way (including under nominative fair use where applicable); they remain the property of their owners. Nothing here grants you rights in those marks, and nothing here is an offer to sell a third party's services. Terms · Request removal
Remove Card From Deck — Remove a flashcard from a named deck. This only removes the association between the card and the deck; the flashcard itself is NOT deleted and remains in other decks and your library.
List Decks — List your decks with basic info (id, name, category, description, card count).
Get Deck — Get details of a single deck (by deck id or deck name), including a summary list of the cards it contains.
Create Deck — Create a new deck.
Delete Deck — Delete a deck (by deck id or deck name). This removes the deck and its card associations, but does NOT delete the flashcards themselves.
Get Review History — Get your past review history (scores and feedback over time), optionally filtered to a single flashcard. Read-only.
Get Statistics Overview — Get a rich learning statistics overview: totals, streaks, average score, due counts, plus optional daily activity, retention curve, and tag performance. Read-only.
Set Deck Sharing — Set the sharing/visibility of one of your decks (by deck id or deck name). Modes: "private" (not shared; clears the share link), "view_only" (shared via link, others can view but NOT clone), "cloneable" (shared via link, others can view AND clone a copy), "public_view_only" (publicly discoverable, view only, not cloneable), "public_cloneable" (publicly discoverable, view and cloneable). For any shared mode a share link is ensured and the full share URL is returned so you can give it to the user.
Archive Deck — Archive or unarchive one of your decks (by deck id or deck name). Archiving a deck also archives all cards in that deck; unarchiving reverses this. Returns the deck id/name, the new archived state, and the number of affected cards.
Get Review Cards — Get review flashcards for a specific deck (or all decks) and the user's deck list for the widget's deck selector. Optionally limit to cards due for review (spaced repetition).
Prepare Flashcards — Prepare draft flashcards for the user to review before adding. Returns guidance for drafting high-quality Q&A flashcards; does NOT save anything. After the user approves the drafts, the model should call add_flashcard.
Get Memory Curve — Get the forgetting/memory curve for a single flashcard: the predicted retention (recall probability) over the next ~30 days based on the adaptive (FSRS-lite) memory model. Used by the review widget to draw an inline retention chart for a card.
Get Card Html — UI-only: fetch the saved interactive HTML visualization (QAPair.html_widget) for a single flashcard. Returns the raw HTML string so the review widget can render it inside a sandboxed iframe. This tool returns data for the widget to display; it does not replace/render the widget itself and is not meant to be called by the model directly.
Set Target — Set a learning target (goal) to align your flashcards against — a company, role, skill, position (job posting), job description, or free-text intent. Creates the target, extracts its competency profile, and queues your cards for background alignment scoring. Does not score cards immediately; use get_progress and get_aligned_cards afterwards.
