Get current weather
Get current weather conditions for a location. Returns temperature, condition, humidity, wind, UV index, precipitation chance, and today's high/low. Use this for the common "what's the weather in X" question.
Get daily forecast
Get the daily forecast for a location, 1 to 7 days ahead. Includes daily high/low temperature, condition, precipitation chance, sunrise/sunset, and dominant wind.
Get hourly forecast
Get hour-by-hour weather forecast for a location, next 1 to 48 hours. Includes temperature, dew point, precipitation chance and amount, wind (speed/direction/gusts), cloud cover, and MSL pressure.
Get weather alerts
Get active weather alerts for a location. Returns NWS alerts for US locations, Meteoalarm for EU. Outside the US/EU returns an empty list — silence is correct, do not synthesize alerts from other sources.
Get air quality
Get air quality for a location. Returns AQI (US standard preferred, EU fallback), severity label (good through hazardous), particulate (PM2.5/PM10) and gas concentrations, and tree/grass/weed pollen levels where available.
Get space weather
Get current space weather: Kp geomagnetic index, GOES X-ray flare class, solar wind speed, and aurora visibility for the given latitude. If no location is provided, uses the requester's IP latitude for the aurora calculation.
Search for places
Search for places by name. Returns up to 5 candidate locations with coordinates, country, and admin region. Useful when a name is ambiguous (e.g. "Springfield" matches dozens of places).
