Sortedtrade Email Me — Send an email to the CURRENTLY-AUTHENTICATED USER themselves (whatever email they signed in with). Use this only when the user asks you to email THEMSELVES something — a summary, a reminder, a list of details for their own records. DO NOT use this for emailing a customer about an appointment or follow-up — use sortedtrade_admin_email_customer for that.
Sortedtrade Superadmin Onboard Dealer — PLATFORM SUPERADMIN ONLY. Onboard a brand-new dealer onto SortedTrade. Creates the dealer record plus its first admin user (the dealer's owner), then emails the owner a sign-in link.
Before calling this tool, collect the following from the superadmin:
REQUIRED (must have all four before calling):
1. dealer_name — the dealer's trading name, e.g. 'Acme Cars'
2. subdomain — a URL-safe slug (3-40 chars, lowercase letters/digits/hyphens), e.g. 'acme-cars'. The dealer will live at {slug}.sortedc
Sortedtrade Superadmin Approve Dealer — PLATFORM SUPERADMIN ONLY. Begin approving a dealer who has PAID and is parked at status='pending_approval'. This is the single point where a paid dealer is activated.
IMPORTANT — credentials are NEVER entered in chat. This tool does NOT take the Claude username, password or API key. It returns a one-time secure link to a hosted form (/approve). Sortedtrade Find Dealers — Find SortedTrade dealers near the buyer by postcode or town. Call this when a customer has not yet chosen a dealer (e.g. they signed in without one and ask about cars). Returns nearby dealers with name, town, distance and stock count, rendered by the chat UI as cards. Each result has a dealer_id to pass to sortedtrade_select_dealer. Optional make / model / max_price_gbp filter the results to dealers that have matching stock.
Sortedtrade Select Dealer — Choose the dealer the customer wants to deal with, using a dealer_id from sortedtrade_find_dealers (or sortedtrade_my_dealers). This scopes the rest of the conversation to that dealer — browsing stock, booking viewings, reserving, paying all act on it. Call this before any dealer-specific tool when the customer signed in without a dealer.
Sortedtrade My Dealers — List the dealers this buyer has used before (their own history only), so a returning customer can jump back in without searching by postcode again. Returns dealer name, when they were last active, and any upcoming appointments. Each has a dealer_id to pass to sortedtrade_select_dealer.
Sortedtrade Logout — Log the user out. Immediately revokes the current sign-in server-side so it can no longer be used (and clears every session for this email), regardless of any token the client cached. Sortedtrade Initiate Login — Start an in-chat sign-in for a different account without leaving the conversation. Call this when the user says 'sign in as X', 'log in as X', or 'switch to X account'. Sends a one-time code to the provided email and returns a prompt for the user to enter it. Follow up with sortedtrade_complete_login once the user provides the code. Works for superadmin, dealer admin, and customer accounts.
Sortedtrade Complete Login — Complete an in-chat sign-in started by sortedtrade_initiate_login. Verifies the one-time code the user received by email and elevates the session to the new account's scope. After success, call sortedtrade_whoami to confirm the new identity. If the user now has superadmin scope but the superadmin tools are not yet visible, tell them to ask me to list available tools or refresh the connection.
Sortedtrade List Vehicles — List vehicles for sale at the dealer the user is authenticated against. Returns thumbnails the chat UI renders as cards — do not paste image URLs in your text.
Sortedtrade Vehicle Photos — Show the full photo gallery for one specific vehicle. Identify by registration_plate (preferred) or vehicle_id. The client renders the result as an inline photo-gallery widget — do not paste image URLs into your text reply.
Sortedtrade Request Appointment — Book a viewing / test-drive / handover / inspection at this dealer. Ask the buyer for their name and mobile number and pass them as customer_name and customer_mobile so the dealer knows who's coming and can contact them (both show in the dealer's calendar). preferred_at must be ISO 8601 with a UK timezone offset (+01:00 BST / +00:00 GMT). Sortedtrade Admin Vehicle Photo Add Url — Attach a photo to a vehicle by fetching it from a public URL. For batch uploads or dragging in local files, point the dealer at the admin web at admin.sortedcarstrade.uk/stock/{vehicle_id} — it has drag-and-drop and is much faster than uploading bytes through chat.
