Get Current User
Use this when the user asks about their own account/profile — returns the authenticated user's profile (name, email, settings/app_state).
Get Option Chain
Get the option chain — strikes, call/put, bid/ask/last, open interest, volume, IV, delta, gamma, theta, poe. `stock` (ticker) is REQUIRED, and always pass `expiry` too or it returns every expiry (very large). Call list_option_expiries first to pick an expiry.
List Option Expiries
List the available option expiry dates for a ticker. Call this before get_option_chain to choose an expiry. No filter → current-month expiries.
Get Option Greeks
Use this when the user asks for the greeks (delta, gamma, theta, IV) of a ticker's options at a given expiry. `ticker` and `expiry` are required.
Search Stocks
Fast lookup of stocks by ticker or name (top matches). Ideal first step to resolve a ticker before calling stock/option tools. If a `portfolio` is passed it also returns the user's matching open positions.
List Industries
Use this when the user asks what industries exist (optionally within a sector) — the reference list of industries used to classify stocks.
List Notes
Use this when the user asks about their notes — the signed-in user's saved notes, filterable via the note filterset.
List Notification Settings
Use this when the user asks about their notifications or notification settings — the signed-in user's notifications, filterable by type.
List Portfolios
List the signed-in user's portfolios. Call this FIRST — it answers "how many portfolios do I have" and returns the portfolio id every other portfolio tool needs. There is no cross-portfolio aggregate, so to cover "all my portfolios" iterate over the ids returned here.
Graph Correlation
Use this when the user asks how the stocks in a portfolio are correlated — returns the pairwise Pearson correlation between holdings.
Graph Fees
Use this when the user asks about fees paid on a portfolio over its lifetime, broken down by year.
Graph Income Over Time
Use this when the user wants an income-over-time chart for a portfolio — income generated per month/year, derived from trades in each period.
Graph Paper Gain Loss
Use this when the user asks about unrealized (paper) gains/losses per position in a portfolio.
Graph Roi By Year
Use this when the user wants a portfolio's ROI charted across the years.
Graph Capital By Sector
Use this when the user asks how their portfolio capital is diversified across sectors — capital and percent per sector, plus remaining buying power.
List Orders
List the user's trade orders (pending/filled/canceled) in a portfolio. Order by created, status, stock_symbol, strategy, or order_type.
Get Order
Use this when the user asks about a specific trade order by id — returns its status and details for one order in a portfolio.
List Positions
List the user's positions/holdings in a portfolio; supports a status filter (open/closed). Use `expand=commodity, ticker` for symbol details. Can be large — request only the fields needed.
Get Position Health
Use this when the user asks how a specific position is doing right now — returns its health status, a live value that moves with the stock price.
Get Position Roi
Use this when the user asks for the return on investment of a specific closed position.
Get Position Timeline
Use this when the user asks when trades were executed on a specific position — returns the dates of its trade events.
List Closed Positions Summary
Use this when the user asks about closed/realized positions — returns a summary of closed positions, optionally filtered by year (and month). No filter → all years.
List Dividends
Use this when the user asks about dividends received in a portfolio; filterable by position.
List Stock Trades
Use this when the user asks specifically about stock (equity) trades in a portfolio; filterable by position.
List Trades
Use this when the user asks about the individual trades (legs) in a portfolio; filterable by position. For dividends use list_dividends.
