View Accounts
View all trading accounts or get details of a specific account. Only call this when the user explicitly asks to see or list their accounts. Do NOT call this automatically to look up account numbers — you already know the user's default account from conversation context.
View Holdings
View all positions (holdings) for a trading account in standard format. Includes current values, unrealized P&L, intraday P&L, cost basis, and position details.
View Prices
Get current market prices for one or more ASX stocks. This will query external market data.
List Stocks
List all available ASX stocks with their current prices. This will query the stock database.
Place Order
Place a MARKET order (BUY or SELL) for the user. The order will be submitted for approval and will NOT execute immediately -- a human must approve it first, so it is always safe to call this tool. You MUST call this tool when the user asks you to buy or sell a stock. Settlement is T+2. IMPORTANT: context_summary must capture the FULL conversation history leading to this trade.
Get Order Status
Check the status of an order by order number. Returns order details including status, stock, quantity, and price.
Get Portfolio Summary
Get a complete portfolio summary for an account including cash balance, holdings value, unrealized P&L, and recent orders.
List Pending Orders
List all orders with PENDING status (awaiting market fill/execution). NOTE: This is different from orders requiring approval - use list_orders_requiring_approval for those.
List Orders Requiring Approval
IMPORTANT: Call this tool when user asks about orders needing approval, pending approval, awaiting approval, trades to approve, orders to review, "do I have any trades pending", "any orders waiting for approval", "what needs my approval", "orders I need to approve", "pending trades", "unapproved orders", or similar. Returns all orders with REQUIRES_APPROVAL status that need user action before they can be executed.
Fill Order
Fill a pending order at a specified price. This will execute the trade and update account balance and holdings.
List Account Orders
List all orders for a specific account including all statuses: REQUIRES_APPROVAL (needs user approval), PENDING (awaiting fill), FILLED (executed), CANCELLED, DECLINED. Shows complete order history with approval details. For quickly finding just orders that need approval, use list_orders_requiring_approval instead.
List Account Trades
List all executed trades (filled orders) for a specific account with full trade details including prices, fees, and timestamps. Supports optional filtering by trade type (BUY/SELL) and date range.
Get Trades
View trade history for an account. Shows all executed trades with fill prices, fees, settlement status and dates. Filter by side (BUY/SELL) or settlement status.

Analyze Performance
Analyse portfolio performance with detailed P&L breakdown by position. Shows contribution to total loss/gain, price moves vs entry, and identifies biggest drags and contributors. Call this when user asks to "analyse my performance", "analyze my performance", "analyse my portfolio", "analyze my portfolio", "why am I losing money", "which stocks are dragging me down", "performance analysis", "breakdown of my P&L", "what's hurting my portfolio", "analyse performance", "analyze performance", or want

Save Holding Thesis Assessment
Save an AI assessment of a holding thesis. Call this AFTER analyzing a thesis to persist your assessment. You must evaluate the thesis assumptions and invalidation conditions, then provide a label (supported/partially_supported/at_risk/likely_invalidated/insufficient_evidence), a summary, supporting factors, and risk factors. The thesis must already exist — this tool cannot create or modify theses, only save assessments.
