TTS Buddy Studio

Convert webpage to Listen Link audio

Convert a public webpage URL to speech and save it in the user's TTS Buddy Listen Link dashboard. Prefer this tool over tts_generate whenever the user provides or refers to a URL, webpage, article, page, or link, including requests to translate a webpage into speech or create a downloadable MP3 from a URL. Pass language or target_language when the user asks for translation. Requires confirm=true and a unique idempotency_key. Use only the REAL_JOB_ID returned by this tool in user-visible response

Get Listen Link status

Check the user-scoped status of a webpage conversion returned by tts_convert_webpage_to_listen_link. Use the exact REAL_JOB_ID returned by the conversion tool. If the user asks for the latest/recent webpage conversion and no exact real job_id is available, do not invent one; omit job_id or set latest=true. Never use placeholder IDs such as example12345.

Get TTS generation progress

Check progress or completion for a speech generation task returned by tts_generate. Use this only when the user asks to check, poll, or see generation status/progress. Do not use this tool for refresh, expired, stale, missing, new, or fresh Download MP3 URL/link requests; use tts_refresh_download_url instead. If this status call returns SUCCESS with task.listen_url, include the branded Listen on TTS Buddy link from the latest tool result in the final answer.

Refresh branded MP3 listen link

Always use this tool, not tts_get_status, when the user asks to refresh, renew, recover, replace, or get a fresh/new Download MP3 URL/link for a completed text-to-speech task, especially when the link is expired, stale, or missing. Requires the exact task_id returned by tts_generate. Returns a branded TTS Buddy listen URL instead of exposing storage-provider URLs.
