Vap E provides full AI media generation and editing capabilities through a credit-based system. Generate images, videos, and music from text prompts, plus edit existing media with natural language commands.

Core Capabilities

Content Generation: Create images using Flux2 Pro ($0.18), videos with Veo 3.1 ($1.96), and music through Suno V5 ($0.68). All generation is asynchronous—submit prompts and track progress via task IDs.

Image Editing: Inpaint/remove objects ($0.15), edit with natural language prompts ($0.15), remove backgrounds ($0.10), and upscale for higher resolution ($0.15). Requires Tier 1+ subscription.

Video Processing: Trim clips to specific time ranges ($0.05) and merge multiple videos into continuous sequences ($0.05). Requires Tier 1+ subscription.

Cost Management: Estimate generation costs before execution and monitor account balance across available, reserved, and usable credits.

Domain Model

Tasks are central—each generation or edit operation returns a task ID for async tracking. Check task status to retrieve final media URLs when processing completes. Account tiers determine feature access, with advanced editing requiring Tier 1+.

All operations consume credits upfront. Always check account balance before large batches. Video generation is significantly more expensive than images or music. Some editing features are tier-locked, so verify account permissions for advanced workflows.
