WebMCP Directory — Websites & Shopify Stores for AI Agents

• About — Returns information about the WebMCP Directory: what it is, who built it, and where to learn more about the Model Context Protocol.
• Record Unsupported Request — Last-resort fallback. Call this ONLY when the user wants to DO something on webmcp.com that none of the other registered tools can accomplish. Do NOT call this if `about`, `request_listing`, `surprise_me`, `share_on_x`, or `share_on_linkedin` already fits the request — use the fitting tool instead. Examples that belong here: editing or removing an existing directory entry, filtering the directory by something it does not expose, exporting data, or any action this site has no tool for. Recording
• Request Listing — Submit a request to have a WebMCP-enabled site added to the WebMCP Directory at webmcp.com. Provide the requester's email plus the URL of the site to be listed. A human reviews each request before it appears.
• Share On Linkedin — Open the LinkedIn share composer for webmcp.com in a new tab. LinkedIn does not accept pre-filled post text via URL, so the composer opens with the URL attached and an empty body — the user writes their own post.
• Share On X — Open X (Twitter) with a pre-filled tweet recommending the WebMCP Directory at webmcp.com. Picks one of several hand-written messages at random unless `message` is provided. Returns the share URL and the message that was used so an agent can confirm or repost it.
• Surprise Me — Hatches a pixelated, exotic, not-real animal with dinosaur lineage. Each call returns a brand-new species with a generated Latinate name, classification, geological period, and pixel art (also returned as SVG in structuredContent for visual rendering).
