Create Itinerary

Create a new travel itinerary. Use this when the user wants to plan a trip. After creating, use `update_itinerary` to add days with places — just send place names like 'Times Square' and the backend resolves everything automatically. You can also include days directly in this call if the user provides specific places.

Modify Itinerary (Simple)

SIMPLE modifications only — change title, set budget, add tag, set destination, set description, set season, set travel type. For adding days with places, replacing the full itinerary, or complex multi-step changes, use the `update_itinerary` tool instead — it supports structured operations with automatic geocoding.

Get Itinerary

Retrieve full details of a travel itinerary including all days and places.

List Itineraries

List the user's travel itineraries with optional filters.

Fork Itinerary

Create a copy of a community itinerary in the user's account for customization.

Publish Itinerary

Publish an itinerary to the Yoteiko community, making it publicly visible.

Share Itinerary

Generate a shareable link for an itinerary.

Delete Itinerary

Permanently delete an itinerary by ID or by exact name. If you know the name (e.g. 'New York City Friends Adventure'), pass it as the title. If you know the ID, pass it as the id. This action cannot be undone.

Set Itinerary Status

Change an itinerary between draft and published. Published itineraries are visible in the community. Draft itineraries are private.

Update Itinerary (Structured)

USE THIS TOOL for adding days with places, replacing the full itinerary, or any complex changes. This is the primary tool for building itineraries with real locations. Just send place names like 'Times Square', 'Central Park' — the backend automatically resolves coordinates, addresses, cover images, routes, and travel times via Mapbox. You NEVER need to send coordinates, addresses, or image URLs. Supported operations: replace_days (replace all days), add_day (add a new day with places), delete_d

Search for travel destinations worldwide. Returns destination suggestions with addresses and coordinates.
