Use this when the user asks what farm record types, fields, statuses, units, or relationships are available. Returns the safe, current YFS record catalog derived from user-visible model definitions; it never exposes arbitrary database models or internal fields.

Search YourFarmStats

Use this to search broadly across accessible YFS farm records. Returns standard search results with stable IDs for fetch; it is read-only and only searches the safe YFS catalog.

Fetch a YFS record

Use this to retrieve one YFS record returned by search or list_yfs_records, including safe fields, farm context, and followable relationships. It is read-only.

List related YFS records

Use this to retrieve a collection or history of one discovered YFS record type, optionally scoped to an accessible farm or a returned related record. It is read-only and cannot apply arbitrary database filters.

Get farm overview

Use this when the user asks what is happening on their farm now. Returns current records and attention items for farms the authenticated YFS user can access; farm_id is optional.

Get work and attention queue

Use this when the user asks what needs attention, is overdue, or is coming up. Returns the current read-only YFS work queue with due timing and context.

Search farm records

Use this to find named farm entities and obtain stable references for follow-up tools. Searches accessible YFS records without arbitrary database access.

Get entity history

Use this after obtaining an entity reference to read its chronological observations, events, harvests, actions, or maintenance.

Compare farm entities

Use this to compare 2-10 accessible records of the same type using recorded context and existing simple totals. It does not generate a recommendation.

Get recent farm activity

Use this when the user asks what has happened recently across their operation. Returns a concise chronological activity feed from existing YFS crop, bee, pasture, livestock, and poultry records.

Search public market reports

Use this to find public auction commodities and exact market classes such as pygmy goats, wethers, Back to the Farm calves, grade, package, or weight range. Returns source-linked public market matches; it does not access private farm records.

Get market report history

Use this after search_market_reports to retrieve chronological public auction observations, exact reported price low/average/high values, volume, class wording, price basis, and source-report links. It preserves source semantics for analysis; it is not a forecast.

Compare market report history

Use this to compare matching public auction histories across two or more markets. A price basis is required and classes remain source-specific, so do not treat the response as normalized sales data or a prediction.

Get hive inspection schema

Use this before creating a hive inspection. Returns the current YFS hive-inspection form fields, valid options, defaults, constraints, and conditional rules from the authoritative Django form.

Create hive inspection

Use this only after the user has confirmed the inspection details. This creates one real YFS hive inspection using the normal form validation and save logic; never invent unreported values. Requires an idempotency key so retries do not create duplicates.

Discover record creation options

Use this when the user wants to add an initial farm record and you need to know which safe YFS creation workflows exist. Lists curated, form-backed record types; it excludes edits, maps, financials, inventory, bulk operations, and arbitrary model access.

Get record creation schema

Use this before creating a non-inspection YFS record. Returns the current fields, choices, defaults, and constraints from the authoritative YFS creation form for one editable farm. Never invent optional values.

Create farm record

Use this only after the user has confirmed the facts. Creates one initial YFS farm record through its normal form validation and save path. Use the matching schema first, omit unreported optional fields, and provide a stable idempotency key. Every AI-created record receives a YFS review task so the farmer can double-check it.
