Domain knowledge for YouSign — workflow patterns, data models, and gotchas for your AI agent.

YouSign

YouSign organizes e-signatures around Signature Requests. Requests have signers and followers; Templates reuse request config. Workspaces organize resources.

Data Model

  • Signature Requests — documents sent for signing; have status and signers.
  • Signature Request Followers — CC'd on requests.
  • Templates — reusable request templates.
  • Contacts — signer contacts.
  • Users — account users.
  • Workspaces — workspace organization.
  • Labels — request labels.
  • Electronic Seal Images — seal images for signing.

Gotchas

  • Request-scoped: Followers and signer data are per signature request. Obtain request ID first.
