Tools

• list_metrics

  List available Bitcoin metrics by category. Use without parameters to see all categories, or specify a category to see its metrics.

• search_metrics

  Search for Bitcoin metrics by keyword. Searches across metric names, descriptions, slugs, and field names.

• get_metric

  Get data for a specific Bitcoin metric. Returns time-series data. Use list_metrics or search_metrics first to find metric slugs.

• get_latest

  Get the latest value for one or more Bitcoin metrics. Useful for quick lookups like current price, MVRV, hashrate.

• compare_metrics

  Compare multiple Bitcoin metrics over the same date range. Aligns data by date. Max 5 metrics.

• get_market_overview

  Quick snapshot of current Bitcoin market: price, market cap, MVRV, NUPL, hashrate, and optionally technical indicators.

• subscribe

  Subscribe to BGapi for higher rate limits via Lightning Network. Creates subscription or checks status.
