· 8 min read

Sales teams waste hours every day jumping between CRM screens. You know the drill. Checking lead statuses, scheduling follow-ups, updating pipelines, creating prospecting lists. It's exhausting and takes time away from actually selling.

So we built 32 MCP tools for NoCRM. Now you can manage your entire sales pipeline through conversation with Claude. Check lead statuses, schedule follow-ups, assign prospects, track activities. Just ask.

Manage your sales pipeline through conversation instead of juggling multiple CRM screens.

What You Can Actually Do

Check leads without opening NoCRM. "Show me all leads in the pipeline" or "Find leads assigned to Sarah that need follow-up today." The AI queries your real-time lead data and shows you the results. Don't even need to log in.

Manage follow-ups instantly. "Schedule a follow-up with lead 12345 for tomorrow at 10am" or "Show me all my overdue follow-ups." The AI handles scheduling, reminders, and tracking. Your team won't miss follow-ups.

Organize prospecting. "Create a prospecting list for tech companies in New York" or "Show me all prospects tagged as 'warm leads'." The AI manages your prospecting lists and keeps them organized.

Coordinate your team. "Assign all unassigned leads in pipeline 2 to Mike" or "Show me what each team member is working on today." The AI distributes work and keeps everyone aligned.

Track everything. "Show me today's sales activities" or "List all leads that moved to won status this week." The AI pulls reports and presents them clearly.

The AI figures out which tools to use based on what you ask. You don't need to know NoCRM's interface or remember where features are.

How It Actually Works

Say you want to see which leads need attention. You ask: "Which of my leads need follow-up today?"

Behind the scenes, the AI uses nocrm_list_follow_ups filtered by your user ID and today's date. It sees you have 5 follow-ups scheduled. Three are warm leads ready to close, one is a callback about pricing, and one is a demo request. The AI presents them prioritized by deal size: "You have 5 follow-ups today. Start with ABC Corp—they're ready to close and worth $50k."

Want to move things forward? "Create a new lead for XYZ Company, contact John Smith, email john@xyz.com, tag it as enterprise lead."

The AI uses nocrm_upsert_lead with all the details structured correctly. The lead gets created in your pipeline, ready for work.

Or maybe you need to organize your prospecting. "Show me all leads in my prospecting list for Q4 enterprise targets." The AI uses nocrm_list_prospecting_lists to find the right list, then shows you every prospect with their details. You see 23 companies, their contact info, and current status. Perfect for planning outreach.

Real Sales Scenarios

Morning sales huddle: "Show me all leads that moved forward yesterday and what activities are scheduled for today."

Get your team aligned in seconds instead of going around the room asking for updates.

Pipeline review: "How many leads are in each stage and what's the total value per stage?" Understand your pipeline health without running reports manually.

Follow-up management: "Schedule follow-ups for all leads in 'demo completed' status for 3 days from now." Automate the tedious task of scheduling next steps.

Lead assignment: "Take all unassigned leads from the website form and distribute them to the team based on territory." Route leads to the right people.

Prospecting prep: "Create a prospecting list from leads tagged 'SaaS' and 'warm' with deal value over $10k." Build targeted outreach lists in seconds.

Team coordination: "Show me Sarah's leads that haven't had activity in 7 days." Identify leads that might be slipping through the cracks.

The AI handles the complexity of NoCRM's API. Filtering by status, date ranges, custom fields, team assignments. You just ask what you need.

32 Tools Organized Into 5 Categories

We split the 32 tools into focused categories:

Lead Management (13 tools): Core sales operations. List leads, create leads, update status, add to clients, duplicate leads, manage comments. Everything to move deals forward.

Activity & Follow-ups (3 tools): Track what's happening. List activities, manage follow-ups by lead or user, schedule next steps.

Never miss a follow-up.

Pipeline & Organization (8 tools): Structure your sales process. Manage pipelines, steps, categories, custom fields, predefined tags. Keep everything organized the way your team works.

Team Management (4 tools): Coordinate your people. List users, create teams, assign leads, track team activities. Distribute work across your sales team.

Prospecting & Webhooks (4 tools): Outreach and automation. Manage prospecting lists, set up webhooks for automation, track webhook events. Scale your prospecting.

You can use all 32 tools or just the ones you need. Each tool handles the NoCRM API complexity automatically—authentication, field formatting, status codes, date handling, all of it.

Common Sales Workflows Made Simple

Daily lead review: "Show me new leads from yesterday and update their status to 'contacted'." Start your day with a clear view of what needs attention.

Weekly pipeline cleanup: "Find leads with no activity in 14 days and mark them for follow-up." Prevent leads from going cold.

Team territory assignment: "Assign all leads from California to West Coast team." Route leads based on your sales structure.

Prospecting campaign: "Create a prospecting list for all leads tagged 'trade show' from last month." Turn event contacts into organized outreach campaigns.

Win tracking: "Show me all leads that closed this month with their deal values."

Celebrate wins and track team performance.

Custom reporting: "List all leads in pipeline 2 with custom field 'urgency' set to high." Filter by your specific business criteria.

The AI handles the technical stuff. API calls, field mapping, date formatting, status validation, error handling. You just describe what you need.

Connect Your NoCRM Account

Enable the NoCRM MCP bundle in your MCPBundles account. You'll need your NoCRM subdomain and API key.

Get your API key from NoCRM: Settings > API > Generate API Key. Your subdomain is the part in your NoCRM URL before .nocrm.io (like mycompany if your URL is https://mycompany.nocrm.io).

Add your credentials once during setup. Your API key stays encrypted in our database and is used for every request. Your credentials don't leave our servers.

Then start asking:

  • "List my leads"
  • "Show me today's follow-ups"
  • "Create a lead for Acme Corp"
  • "Which leads need attention?"

The AI picks the right tools. All the technical stuff—authentication, endpoint selection, error handling, result formatting—happens behind the scenes.

What About Costs?

NoCRM MCP tools are included with your MCPBundles subscription. No per-request charges, no usage limits.

You're still paying NoCRM directly for your CRM subscription. Our tools just make it easier to use through AI conversation.

API rate limits apply based on NoCRM's policies. The AI handles rate limiting—if you hit a limit, it'll tell you and retry when appropriate.

Your Data Stays Secure

Your NoCRM credentials stay encrypted in our database. We never log API keys or share them with anyone.

Every request uses your specific credentials. You can only access data from your own NoCRM account.

No cross-account access, no shared data.

API keys are scoped to NoCRM's permissions system. If your API key has read-only access in NoCRM, it's read-only through our tools too. We don't add extra permissions.

You can revoke access anytime by regenerating your NoCRM API key or removing the bundle from your MCPBundles account.

Limitations to Know About

Permission requirements: Some operations require admin permissions (like creating users or managing teams). The AI will tell you when an operation needs elevated permissions.

Field validation: Custom fields must match the types configured in your NoCRM account. The AI can't create new custom fields—use NoCRM's interface for that.

Status transitions: Leads can only move through your configured pipeline steps. You can't skip stages if your pipeline requires sequential progression.

User creation costs: Creating new users may trigger billing charges in NoCRM (prorated for the current billing period). Test in a sandbox first.

Team features: Team management requires the Teams feature enabled in your NoCRM account. Not all plans include this.

What We Learned Building This

NoCRM's API is straightforward but has nuances. Leads require specific field structures depending on your custom fields. Follow-ups need either a lead_id or user_id. Prospecting lists require content formatted as arrays of arrays (first row is headers).

We built logic to handle these requirements. The AI knows which fields are required for which operations, how to format dates correctly, and what status codes are valid.

We tested all 32 tools against a real NoCRM account. Fixed field mapping issues, handled edge cases like empty prospecting lists, figured out proper status code validation through trial and error.

Now it just works. You ask for something and the AI handles the technical details.
